I have tried, over the last week or so, every spot in Southern Village and La Vita Dolce is by far the best. Wifi - both indoors and outdoors - is superstrong and it also allows me to use VPN which is essential for my work. Atmosphere is sometimes lively, but never such that I cannot focus on my work. Cafe mocca is the best I’ve tried in recent years and gelato is excellent.

One of the site goals is to help you find good wireless access points (aka WiFi) in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, North Carolina.
Another goal is to promote the creation of more public wireless hotspots in Chapel Hill and Carrboro. (Carrboro seems to have a head start. )
