Local Newspaper providing Free WiFi
A bunch of blogs around the web are writing about a local newspaper in Moore County, NC - Pinehurst, Southern Pines - called The Pilot who is launching a free WiFi service. Read more about it here on the newspapers website. A bold move. I hope there’s a support system set up so disadvantage citizens can use it successfully. i.e. people who can’t afford a laptop to hang out in coffee shops. I wonder if our local radio station WCHL would be interested in doing this?
